Pitch, Hit, Run Competition

Pitch, Hit and Run is a skills comptetion for boys and girls ages 7-14 sponsored by Major League Baseball.  This is your chance to showcase your individual baseball and softball skills.  There will be awards for Top Pitcher, Top Hitter, Top Runner and an All-Around Champion.  Registration is free and open to boys and girls ages 7-14.  There will be a boys and girls divisions.  The divisions are as follows 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14.  Print a registration form and be ready to compete on April 24th starting at 10 am, Veterans Memorial Park in Campbellsville
 
Try to throw strikes like Major League pitchers by taking a shot at hitting the MLB Strike Zone.  Start at second and head for home to test your speed at running the bases.  Swing away from home plate! Just like big leaguers, you'll be judged on distance and accuracy.
 
Winners will move on to the Sectional competition.  Winners from sectionals will move onto the MLB Team Championship.  The Team winners will move onto compete at the All-Star Game and get a chance to shag fly balls during the Home-Run Competition All-Star weekend.

We are excited to team up with On Target For Christ. An archery ministry designed to teach people about the sport of archery.  OTFC will set up between the fields at Veterans Memorial Park and will be Free of charge to anyone that would like to participate. Simply come to the registration tent prior to shooting the Bow and Arrow.  All events that day are FREE to participate in. Only the 7-14 year olds will be scored according to the Pitch Hit Run rules and regulations.   We will be selling Ribeye sandwiches, chips and a drink for $5.
